Grand opening of the M9 – Museum of the Twentieth Century, Mestre

The inauguration of the M9, the Museum of the Twentieth Century designed by Sauerbruch Hutton, was held last Saturday, 1st December, in Mestre (VE). SCE Project, happily attended the opening ceremony, proud to have taken part in a project of such cultural impact.

“M9, inspired by international successful urban regeneration projects, proposes an innovative format in which multimedia culture, sustainable architecture, technology, community services and innovative retail spaces, travel on the same track to generate employment, growth and well-being for the residents.”

An important project, which involved SCE Project in all design and construction phases, offering integrated services and site management.

During the opening night, the iconic colorful facade of the new Museum was turned into a vertical stage, welcoming an impressive dance show performed by Marco Castelli Small Ensemble with “Wall Movers” by the Compagny Il Posto.
